| Product Design |
| |
In order for us to work with you on the design of the product, it is necessary to establish a Product Brief. This is where a description of the product is given such as:
» Type of product
» Desired feel, texture and colour
» Function and purpose of the product
» Target market
» Packaging
» The project budget
» The approximate costs per unit
The project brief will help us understand the type of product we are trying to design and what sort of active ingredients we should use. Any price constraints will help us specify the right ingredients to meet your requirements. |

| Product Development |
| |
| This is where the product may have to be totally re-worked or simply tweaked. It is this part of the project where we will work closest with you. It may involve several samples modifying each for colour, aroma and feel. Alternative base and active ingredients may need to be tried or the amount of a particular ingredient may need to be changed to get the product just right. |

| Testing |
| |
| According to EU Cosmetic directives, all cosmetics and toiletries have to be safety assessed. There are two tests involved. One is a Product Stability Test which involves the measurement of specifications and visual assessment of the product over a period of twelve weeks. This establishes the shelf life of the product, and we are able to offer this service in-house. The second is a Preservative Challenge test. This is carried out at an accredited microbiology laboratory and usually takes five to six weeks. |

| Preparation of Product Information Packs |

| These are vital for retail products and are prepared to current EU Cosmetic Directives. These are the Health and Safety assessment of the formulation and ingredients, the manufacturing procedure, Stability and Preservative Challenge test results. |

| Manufacture |
| |
| All of the work is done in our in-house manufacturing and packaging facility. In a single batch we can make up to 1000kg of cold mix products (Shampoos, gels etc) and 500kg of hot mix products (creams, lotion etc). |

| Packaging |
| |
| We have a comprehensive range of semi-automatic machines which include filling, capping, tube sealing, labelling and batch coding. This allows us to be very versatile in the types of bottles and jars we can handle. |

| Distribution |
| |
| We can arrange to have your finished products sent to your retail locations; wherever they may be. We can pack your products into your desired unit size (12, 21, 48 unit size box etc), and send them to several different locations. This saves you time and hassle having to handle and re-distribute your finished products. Every project we undertake is unique. It is therefore difficult to give definitive costs, but typical costs per product for the various services are: |

| We have two ranges of finished products. Each range is fully tested and can be filled into containers of your choice with your labels according to your instructions. These products are natural, Paraben and SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate) free. In addition to this we can offer Shampoos, Shower Gels and Foaming products which are manufactured without SLES (Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate). |
